JULIA MORA DE BARRENECHEA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Todos los\u00a0<strong>17 de septiembre<\/strong>se homenajea a los docentes y<strong> profesores<\/strong> de todo el pa\u00eds y por eso hay fiesta en los colegios secundarios, los institutos terciarios y las universidades de la Argentina. Es en honor a\u00a0<strong>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Estrada<\/strong> y se conmemora el d\u00eda de su fallecimiento. El\u00a0<strong>D\u00eda del Profesor<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n es llamado<strong> D\u00eda de la Ense\u00f1anza Media<\/strong>.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Estrada naci\u00f3 en Buenos Aires el 13 de junio de 1842<\/strong>. Desde muy joven colabor\u00f3 en diferentes peri\u00f3dicos juveniles y cuando ten\u00eda 22 a\u00f1os fue proclamado como \u201cel\u00a0<strong>primer escritor del pa\u00eds<\/strong>\u201d por su libro \u201cComuneros del Paraguay\u201d.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFue<strong> profesor del Colegio Nacional <\/strong>y de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. En 1882, fund\u00f3 el diario \u201cLa Uni\u00f3n\u201d, desde donde defendi\u00f3 la necesidad de lograr la unidad nacional, bajo los ideales de la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCautiv\u00f3 a los j\u00f3venes por ser poseedor de una brillante oratoria. Fue profesor de la c\u00e1tedra de Historia Argentina, en la Escuela Normal Popular, llegando a ser Rector del Colegio Nacional. Escribi\u00f3, entre otros: \u201cLecciones de Historia Argentina\u201d y \u201cG\u00e9nesis de nuestra raza\u201d.
