Las fuerzas militares junto a grupos con intereses econ\u00f3micos y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n asaltaban a la democracia, destru\u00edan la rep\u00fablica que hab\u00eda construido don Arturo y la Uni\u00f3n C\u00edvica Radical.<\/div>\n<div>Durante el gobierno de Illia las libertades y derechos constitucionales tuvieron plena vigencia. El producto bruto interno hab\u00eda crecido m\u00e1s de 25 por ciento, con una deuda externa que se hab\u00eda reducido en 1.800 millones de dolares del total de 7.500 millones al comienzo de ese gobierno.<\/div>\n<div>La inflaci\u00f3n era de 5,4 por ciento desde enero de ese a\u00f1o.
